INCOME ELIGIBILITY DETAILS FOR THE 2025 CDBG PROGRAM

The Town of Binghamton recently received funding from New York State in the form of a Community Development Block Grant.  The funds from this grant will be used to rehabilitate single-family, owner-occupied properties located within the boundaries of the Town.  Occupants must be low-to-moderate in income, as per the table below and the property must be in need of repairs.  Other requirements apply.

3 – $68,050
4 – $75,600
5 – $81,650
6 – $87,700
7 – $93,750
8 – $99,800

The type of rehabilitation work incudes, but may not be limited to:  electrical, plumbing, heating, roofing, insulation, masonry, windows, doors, painting, flooring, and interior and exterior carpentry.
