SUMMER SCHEDULE FOR SENIORS BOOK CLUB & MOSAIC CLASSES

The Seniors Book Club is now meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at the Community Center at 1901 Coleman Road from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  All are welcome!  Here is a list of the upcoming books:

Tuesday, June 10, 2025 – “The Storm of the Century” by Al Roker

Tuesday, July 8, 2025 – “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil” by John Berendt

Tuesday, August 12, 2024 – “Horse” by Geraldine Brooks

If you haven’t read any of the featured books, please feel free to come anyway! 

PLEASE NOTE:  The Book Club (as a group) chooses the books to be featured each month.  If you have a book you’d like to recommend, please bring it with you to the next meeting and join the club!

The Seniors Mosaics Class (Crafts) meets on the last Thursday of each month at the Town of Binghamton Town Hall, located at 279 Park Avenue, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  All supplies (and refreshments!) are provided, but you may also bring your own tiles / base forms to use if you wish.  We also have the tools to turn china into mosaic pieces, too!  In the past we’ve made trivets, lawn decorations, bird feeders, mirrors, and picture frames.  The class is currently moving on to include trinket boxes and translucent items such as vases & canisters.

All levels of experience are welcome and no commitment is necessary!  Just confirm your attendance each month at (607) 772-0357, ext. 301 so Lisa knows who to call in case of changes.  Classes will be held on the following dates this summer unless otherwise advised:
