COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG): The Town is Submitting Another Application for Additional Funding in 2025

Because of the amount of interest shown in the Town of Binghamton’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, the Town will be submitting another application to New York State for additional funding in 2025.  If awarded, the grant will provide financial assistance to owner-occupied, income-eligible homes throughout the Town, for housing repairs such as roofing, insulation, siding, plumbing, heating, electric, masonry, windows, doors, and carpentry.   THIS IS A GRANT and NOT A LOAN.

Thoma Development Consultants of Cortland has been hired to prepare the CDBG application.  Residents interested in being placed on the waiting list should contact Thoma Development Consultants at 607-753-1433 to request a pre-application.

We’re hoping some of you will take advantage of this great opportunity!
