B.C. HEALTH DEPT. SHARES INFO. ABOUT FREE CANCER SCREENINGS
Maggie Gareca, a Public Health Outreach Coordinator from the Broome County Health Department, was present at the April 15th Town Board meeting to provide information about the Southern Tier Cancer Services Program.
The program consists of FREE CANCER SCREENINGS FOR THE UNINSURED and covers breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screenings.
NYS also has a special type of Medicaid for people who are in active cancer treatment of breast, colon, cervical, or prostate cancer and the program helps pay for the treatments.
