NOTICE OF ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HEARING: Mon., 2/27/23 @ 6:30 p.m.: Atlas Solar – 57 Powers Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Binghamton Zoning Board of Appeals, Broome County, New York, will meet at the Town Hall, 279 Park Avenue, Binghamton, New York of the 27th day of February, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of a Zoning Board of Appeals hearing pursuant to Town of Binghamton Town Code Chapter 240-64. A. (1) to consider the following matter:

An application by Binghamton Solar LLC, a 100% subsidiary of ATLAS Renewables LLC for the property located in a district zoned “R-1”, owned by Robert Haskell and referred to as 57 Powers Road, Binghamton, New York 13903 and identified as tax map number 161.14-1-35.11, seeking a minor modification of the variance previously granted by the Zoning Board of Appeals on June 14, 2022, to change the alignment of certain solar panels in order to build a 5.0 MW (AC) solar facility and associated electrical appurtenances.

Copies of the above application and prior variance that was granted are available at the Office of the Building Official, Town Hall, 279 Park Avenue, Binghamton, New York for inspection prior to the public hearing. Written communications to the Board concerning this appeal may be sent to Chairman, Board of Zoning Appeals, Town Hall, 279 Park Avenue, Binghamton, New York 13903 but must be received prior to the hearing to be considered. At said Zoning Board of Appeals hearing, the Board will allow attendance by anyone, appearing in person or by agents or attorneys, who is interested in this appeal.
