The Town of Binghamton will be holding “Municipal Cleanup Days” on Thursday, May 20 and Friday, May 21, 2021, from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. Items can be dropped off (you must unload) at TWO locations: Town of Binghamton Town Hall at 279 Park Avenue or the Highway Dept. located at 865 Hawleyton Road. PROOF OF RESIDENCY (DRIVERS LICENSE) IS REQUIRED.
TIRES WITH OR WITHOUT RIMS: $2 per tire (unlimited). CASH ONLY. NO LARGE TRUCK TIRES.
WHITE GOODS including washers, dryers, stoves, etc.
FURNITURE including wooden and metal cabinets
HOUSEHOLD TRASH (household items from cleaning out your basement, garage, etc.) including: MATTRESSES & BOX SPRINGS, CARPETS, HOT TUBS, HOT WATER HEATERS, MICROWAVES, MIRRORS, TOILETS, CLOTHING, POWER WASHERS, PALLETS, FENCE POSTS, METAL ITEMS*, SCREEN DOORS AND SIMILAR ITEMS. *There will be a separate dumpster for “metal only”.
ITEMS NOT ALLOWED:
NO APPLIANCES WITH FREON!
NO FOOD ITEMS!
NO CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS!
NO YARD WASTE OR LEAVES!
*NOTE: The BC Landfill will accept certain items (including electronics) for FREE on specific dates. Click here to see what items are acceptable/unacceptable.
